BUSINESS CONSULTANT

Job Description

  • Analyze and provide advice on the managerial methods and organization of the company;

  • Conduct assessments and propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures in areas such as operations, human resources, records management and communications;

  • Take charge for the quality audits and develop quality management and quality assurance standards;

  • Determine, support and suggest to clients on best suited services and act as client advocate.

  • meet with clients and advise them on investment strategies, taking into account a client's needs, tolerance for risk and long-term goals.

  • Develop an understanding of the key quantifiable operational performance indicators of the client’s business;

  • Conduct business and market research, interpretation and analysis applicable to clients’ businesses using mediums such as internet, industry and government written documentation, interviews with customers and competitors.

  • Assist with data gathering, analysis and writing of reports to summarize findings, identify risks and considerations for investment decisions

  • Assist with the development of qualitative and quantitative analysis resulting from information obtained through research

  • Accountable for a highly developed level of customer service ensuring that customer needs and requests are responded to in a timely, accurate and professional manner

  • Develop positive working relationships with clients at the peer and management level

Employment requirements

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in business, finance, commercial law, economics technology, engineering or other related field

  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

BOOKKEEPER

Job Description

  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills

  • Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents

  • Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services

  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.

Employment requirements

  • Completion of secondary school is required.

  • Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping, Finance, Economics or a related field 

  • One year of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required.

Accountant

Job Description

  • Plan, set up and administer accounting systems and prepare financial information for individuals, departments within organizations, businesses and other establishments

  • Examine accounting records and prepare financial statements and reports

  • Develop and maintain cost finding, reporting and internal control procedures

  • Examine financial accounts and records and prepare income tax returns from accounting records

  • Analyze financial statements and reports and provide financial, business and tax advice

  • May act as a trustee in bankruptcy proceedings

  • May supervise and train articling students, other accountants or administrative technicians.

Employment requirements

  • Completion of secondary school is required.

  • Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping, Finance, Economics or a related field 

  • At lease five year of experience as an Accountant.
